The Flagler Executive Airport is a county-owned, public use, general aviation airport that is operated and maintained under the direction of the Flagler County Board of County Commissioners. The airport’s operation and maintenance are the responsibility of the Airport Director.

By locating your facility at the Flagler Airport Commerce Park, your business will be an anchor business. As an anchor tenant, you will have the advantage of being in an upscale location, with direct flightline/ramp access and the benefit of the County’s multi-million dollar investment in infrastructure and site planning. In excess of $50 million has been dedicated to the fund the master planned airport. This allows us to offer a quality aviation facility at NO UPFRONT LAND OR BUILDING COSTS to your company with NO PROPERTY OR BUILDING TAXES.

The Flagler Executive Airport (FIN) is located south of SR 100 on the east side of Flagler County, the airport is just one mile west of a full interchange with Interstate 95 and three miles east of U.S. Highway 1. With two 5,000 foot paved runways, two heliports, and a 3,000 foot water runway, the airport accommodates every type of general aviation aircraft, from the largest corporate jets to single-engine aircraft, rotorcraft, seaplanes, and airships, as well as military aircraft. The Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) has continually ranked as one of the busiest Federal Contract Towers since it was commissioned in 2009. At the end of 2013, it was the busiest in Florida and the third busiest in the entire nation. Forecasts approved as part of the on-going Airport Master Plan project operations to increase at an annual growth of 2.2 percent through the year 2033. Flight training activities are a large component of this activity due to several flight schools located at the airport as well as in the nearby Daytona Beach area. However, itinerant general aviation operations, comprising of private, business/corporate, and air charter flights, have been, and are projected to remain, the segment with the most growth. The airport also supports recreational/sport flying, banner towing, medical flights, and environmental patrol operations.

    AerialClick here to enlarge image

Many businesses in the local area as well as the surrounding region utilize the airport due to its facilities, services, and proximity along the east coast of Florida. The combination of airside and landside access make the airport an attractive location for both aviation and non-aviation companies. In fact, the airport recently opened up the flightline along the crosswind runway to support the demand for additional development space. The new access road, utilities, and taxiway improvements have created the Flagler Executive Airport Commerce Centre. This area provides approximately 130 acres of both aviation and non-aviation space, including the ability to support industrial/flex development sites up to ten acres in size. All of the aviation and commercial activities are important to the airport’s revenue stream and local economy.
